Making High-Quality Transport Fuels From Low-Value Residuals

The same pyrolysis oil used today to generate renewable heat and power, can be upgraded to offer a new alternative for the transportation fuel market.
American Petroleum has already proven on a lab scale that this technology is possible. Now, with the support of the worldwide, industry partners and joint venture partner.

American Petroleum announced that we received from the international of Energy to build a demonstration unit in worldwide that will convert cellulosic biomass into green transportation fuels.

The demonstration is part of the DOE’s effort to help reduce U.S. dependence on foreign oil, spur the creation of the domestic bio-industry and create new jobs. The project will use forestry and agricultural residuals as well as algae residuals to produce pyrolysis oil and then upgrade this oil to high-quality, drop-in gasoline, diesel and jet fuel.
